Wine is conviviality, joy and participation. In Valdobbiadene the vine has its roots in a very ancient subsoil dating back to the raising of the sea and lake bottoms, a coexistence of different types of soils but also a different conformation of the hills. The hills are now gentle, in the Conegliano area, now steeper and completely exposed to the south in that of Valdobbiadene. Here the Prosecco Superiore Extra Dry Bandarossa - Couture Collection - becomes a unicum in a limited edition with exemplary characteristics of finesse and value. The name can be translated as “Red band”, like the red mark drawn with a pencil by the founder Giuliano Bortolomiol on the bottles of the best selection, those of the best vintage. He then shared them with friends, lovers of good wine who, like him, were dedicated to rural life.
Prosecco Valdobbiadene Superiore Bandarossa is a wine of the earth, where the earth is the mother generator, a wine of light and warmth, of territoriality and craftsmanship, of personality and tradition. An iconic wine that has been highly recognizable since 1986 thanks to a label that celebrates and differentiates it, a Bortolomiol excellence that after six decades is confirmed by passion, dialogue and territory.
Nose of sweet floral notes, opens to ripe fruit, yellow apple, candied citrus, white peach. The subtle, measured and creamy perlage transmits a feeling of enveloping and great pleasure, a measured and gentle drink that makes it an emblem of great combinability.
We tasted it as aperitif with aubergines, burratina and culatello.
The company was founded in 1760. It was later led by Giuliano Bortolomiol, father of the current four daughters (Maria Elena, Elvira, Luisa and Giuliana) who have been running the company since his death. The commitment of Bortolomiol women is in fact aimed not only to proudly affirm a female vision of work, but above all to bring greater sensitivity to the territory. Women’s excellence in fact for women Bortolomiol also means engaging in carrying out projects for humanitarian purposes, such as the project in Benin (Africa) aimed at the integration into the business world of 60 women, as well as special courses for holders with assistance in the vineyard and advice from expert agronomists or even the support now consolidated to the Community of Sant'Egidio and the initiative "Wine for life". The future of the company is oriented to opening up to new markets and to a real commitment of the company in important environmental and humanitarian projects.
